Feelings of Accomplishment, Independence, and Drive

We are glowing with pride, thinking about the accomplishments of our young leaders. From our youngest program participants who are learning the power of teamwork through cooking and preparing healthy meals to teens who are boldly stepping out of their comfort zones to drive positive change for their community, we are witnessing a movement of young people eager to catalyze change and support their community.

The GrowHaus invites children and teens from the communities served to participate in interactive programs that build healthy habits and lay the groundwork for youth to develop confidence as leaders.

Youth Education

The GrowHaus’ youth-centric programs instill an appreciation for nutritious food, the importance of a balanced diet, and the agency that comes from making informed choices. Through interactive workshops, hands-on cooking sessions, and community garden initiatives, young individuals are immersed in health and nutrition.

Multigenerational Programs

Recognizing that education is a lifelong journey, The GrowHaus’ multigenerational programs bring together individuals from diverse age groups, including caregivers and small children. Sessions delve into broader aspects of wellness, including food and nutrition education, physical activity, community bonding, fostering a shared sense of purpose, a deeper connection with the local food system, and mutual growth.

Teen Leadership and Internship Program

For older youth, The GrowHaus’ Teen Leadership and Internship Program offers a deeper dive into food and wellness education. These programs provide teens with leadership opportunities, hands-on experiences in food and wellness sectors, and paid internships that prepare them for future careers in health, nutrition, and community service.
