Join the Leadership Journey of Local Teens

It’s that time of year again when we renew our commitment to young leaders and welcome new faces to our 14th annual Seed2Seed summer teen leadership program. Seed2Seed supports future leaders from Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea in realizing their potential to be agents of change through interactive field trips, meaningful discussions about food justice, and peer-to-peer mentorship from past Seed2Seed graduates.

The Seed2Seed class of 2024 has begun, and we invite you to be part of their leadership journey. Our goal is to welcome 75 new También members to sponsor this year’s program. For every new member, a generous donor will donate an additional $50 to Seed2Seed!

Seed2Seed: Pathways to Opportunity

A New Face of Leadership
With only a mere 3% of Latino executive leaders in the US, Seed2Seed defies the odds as past graduates start their own businesses, lead community events, and pursue college degrees.

Growing the Next Generation of Community Leaders
During Seed2Seed teens embark on a journey to explore food justice through interactive field trips and discussions, while learning life skills that promote healthy habits, like preparing nutritious meals and mindfulness.

An Innovative Community-Youth Led Approach
Teens who graduated from the Seed2Seed program are returning to The GrowHaus as paid facilitators. They recognize the value of other rising leaders in our neighborhood and curate enriching and culturally responsive programming for their peers, while deepening their own experience.

Seed2Seed is knowing that there is a group of people out there that is willing to spend their time to show people what actually matters”
